1. Arrival by car

Arriving from Autobahn Kassel/Würzburg, exit Bad Brückenau/Wildflecken.

Somehow manage to get onto the autobahn from Kassel to Würzburg. Take the exit Bad Brückenau/Wildflecken.
From exit Bad Brückenau/Wildflecken the distance to Bischofsheim is about 20 km. From the exit, first drive in direction Bad Brückenau, then on the next crossing turn right (East) in direction Wildflecken/Bischofsheim (B279). Follow the signs indicating Bischofsheim.

Take the first exit called Bischofsheim and drive in direction center Bischofsheim. Turn right directly after you passed a gasoline station at the church of the cemetery. Then shortly follow the signs "Kreuzberg" for 300m. Turn left when you see the indication for "Stadtteil Haselbach", and then go strait almost to the end of the village (about 1 km), always following the main village road and the famous river-architecture.
The guesthouse Dotzel is on the left-hand side of the road in driving direction. The house number "113" is indicated with white letters on blue ground on the right-hand-side above the entry door.
Orientation note: At this place there are no longer any houses on the right-hand side of the road. Please ring at the entry door -even if you are arriving late- to get your keys.

2. Arrival by train and bus (public transport)

For travelling by train, you can either go to Bad Neustadt(Saale) train station (about 20km from Bischofsheim(Rhön)) or to Gersfeld(Rhön) train station (about 10 km from Bischofsheim(Rhön)) and then take the bus to Bischofsheim(Rhön). Click to get the Train Schedule Information.
